Fat reduction and added health benefits
The natural soluble fibre Beta glucan which is the main component of PromOat™ binds water and stabilizes creamy emulsions creating a full fat feel in reduced fat products, such as butter based spreads, mayonnaises, dressings, processed meats and baked goods.

More specifically, PromOat™ actively thickens and stabilizes the water phase in emulsified systems as well as providing fat binding sites which help to achieve stable emulsions. and gives that “full-fat” creamy-mouthfeel in finished goods even at low fat.
